The invention discloses a multi-purpose partition assembly including six first partition plates, six second partition plates and two third partition plates. The six first partition plates, the six second partition plates and the two third partition plates are capable of being assembled and separated into a plurality of storage spaces. The six first partition plates, four of the second partition plates, and the two third partition plates are capable of being assembled to constitute one type of shelf. Four of the first partition plates, the six second partition plates and the two third partition plates are capable of being assembled to constitute another type of shelf.
