Division of International Affairs (hereafter referred to as the DIA), hosted the "NTUE-JP Online Language and Culture Program" last month(in March). We use the way that we've done before, and expand the program period to three days. Additionally, arranged the High advanced level of Chinese class, Japanese students could join the class by optional.

Through the Higher Education Sprout Project, DIA invites our overseas partner institutions from Europe, America, Korea, and Japan to participate in the Language and Culture program in Taiwan. The program is about 2 weeks, DIA arranges the Chinese class, culture class, and field trip, and recruits NTUE students as an assistant bring our foreign friends to go around Taipei city. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the foreign students couldn't come to Taiwan. So, we arranged this Online Program, inviting 9 JP universities and a total of 21 students,  hoping they could know more about Taiwanese culture and NTUE!

The online program, including Chinese learning, hands-on activities, and interaction with NTUE students, made them know more about Taiwan. We hope this online program could attract more JP students to come to Taiwan for exchange, and more NTUE students could exchange to Japan for study in the future.
After the end of an online program, we sent the certificates, gifts to the teachers and participants, to thanks them for their assistance and participation in this program.
